From Nick Souter’s Persuasive Presentations:
Here are the ten commandments for using PowerPoint. Write them in stone.
- Only one idea on each page.
- Give each page a title.
- Abbreviate.
- Be ruthlessly relevant.
- Use full sentences for quotes and statements.
- Build, don’t reveal.
- Aesthetic consistency.
- Use icons and images.
- Avoid dynamic typography.
- Have a Plan B.
